Hi my name is Trish. I had a canal wall down surgery in october of last year to remove cholesteatoma from my right ear. I had to have all 3 bones repaired also. The doctor was sure he removed all of it out of my ear, but of course there is no guarantee it wont come back. Just when i think things are getting better, I started having pain in my ear as well as pressure around the outside of it. I went in for a check up and he said the inside of my ear was swollen so he gave me some steroids and antibiotics to take and request that i come back in for a CT scan to see if it  has came back. Im scheduled to go in the morning. Pray all goes well and I dont have to go through it all over again.
Thank you

There will be an end yo this, and a happy one!
I sort of have to smile when I get reminded of what the surgeon told me when the operation got prosponed because of social cuts in Spain: don't forget you're a Patient. The word comes from "patience"!
Hope you'll be fine after next Op. I'm waiting for the hospital to call me for my next CT. also have some doubts again.
Enjoy life as much as possible, that's all we can do I suppose.

Abrazo Manuel.
