I am back at the Mass eye and ear infirmary in Boston with my daughter.  She is in the OR right now.  She is having her right ear operated on.  She had this ear worked on 6 months ago to remove the c-toma.  Today is the recheck the MD does to make sure there is no regrowth.  Fortunately in this ear she did not have any damage to the ossicles and her last hearing test was withing normal range.  Hopefully will be out of surgery in the next hour or 2 and will be home tonight.  We will be back in June for the left ear.  That ear did have damage at the joint of the incus and stapes so it will be a longer procedure and MD will need to do some reconstruction.
